Game: Where-is-it (Aussie)

Not long ago, there would have been thousands of rabbit burrows hereabouts. Well, at least 1066.

A non-cryptic clue: this is in the Vulkathunha / Gammon Ranges NP.

My maps suggest Benbonyathe Hill is at 1064m.
I think it is the highest in the area, so not sure about your 1066?

But your other clue suggests Mt Warren-Hastings, and the view would fit it better.
PS - [duh - should learn more history...]

Well done, eggs. Yes, the view is a reasonable clue. Lake Frome on the eastern horizon, Mt Chambers to the south.
