Great eye for detail GBW, I wasn't sure anyone would pick up the trig.

Initially it was the rocks, moss, plants then the leaning trig confirmed my suspicions. We went up from Schlink Hut/Gungartan Pass. Great views.

Name the lake and/or the name of national park. I'll eat my hat if no one knows the park.

That's it (well, Hattah - Kulkyne NP, actually). Lake Mournpall, close to the the Mournpall camping area.

Lucky guess? I've got a shot of the missus there.
I notice in your photo Lops the AAWT badge right next to the trig?

I was being facetious. The trig is like no other that I have seen. The marker is AWT. Maybe Little Twynum looking eastish. KNP for sure. I think.
Thu 18 Apr, 2019 7:44 pm
I know Lops. This is north of Little Twynam.

Gungartan?
Fri 19 Apr, 2019 2:55 pm
Close enough Lops. Just near Gungartan Pass looking north (I think) All yours.
Fri 19 Apr, 2019 4:12 pm
Thanks. I think it's looking north with the edge above the baby Valentine or a creek flowing that way. Victoria. I'd like to know what I'm looking at and where I am.

Correct. The small dark terrace in the foreground is just below the track a few minutes from the descent track to the hole. There's room for one tent and water is a fair distance in any direction. The views are spectacular.

Thanks, yeah I reckon it'd be a brilliant place to camp if you had water. Where is this in NSW...
