On the far left is the ocean - not Lake Mungo.

I have scanned some satellite views of the NSW coast. This looks like the biggest stretch of sand.
Featured in the photo competition not that long ago.

repeat for page turn..

Had to look that up - we had been at Anna Bay at the northern end of the beach - but yes - one web site has this description:
The Stockton Bight Sand Dunes, in the Worimi Conservation Lands, cover 4,200 hectares, 1,800 of which are forest, as well as 32kms of the longest moving sand dunes in the southern hemisphere.
They are amazingly large and extensive dunes.
A great walk up onto them towards sunset.

Interesting eggs. A lot of White Pointer Sharks along the coast there!
NSW again basically because I don't get the chance to walk too many other places.

Thanks eggs - beaut shot. SA's not inundated with great falls but these are a tucked away gem a couple of hours south of the city.

NSW (more or less)

the 'more or less' implies it's probably near a border, but not idea where. The flora reminds me a lot of some of the areas around Whalan Flats in Kanangra Boyd NP so will guess that as an opening gambit.

Well that was quick.

Not the Ingeegoodbee but certainly Cowombat region.

Some of us took the hut option the following night. Almost blown off this ridge on the night. Take a stab at something more definite.

Yes that's the place robl. Cowombat Ridge, path of the AAWT north to Tin Mine Huts and on to Kosciuszko. The harder, higher western path. Much less horse shyte on this route.

I erased the pic I first uploaded because I have played it before.
