T3 track - access road

Postby polas » Sat 21 Apr, 2018 8:58 pm

Hi,
I haven't done that track for more than a decade. It used to be possible to drive on the fire trail to a turning circle and walk for about 3km to the junction of colo and toothie. Is it still possible? Newest maps show locked gate on the fire trail which makes this hike pretty long.
cheers.

thank you Tom. I wasn't sure so I took my group to Fortress Ridge canyon exit instead. Very satisfying location :-)
