Sorry Webguy. I have no ideas of the area and only found this aerial on a web search. I am trying to locate the specific area of this aerial image and not having any luck. I believe the image is from UBMBC.

Also found a trip report. By the look of it, they accessed via Bird Rock Trail No 1, on the east side of Cathedral Cave. Rope/tape required to assist with the descent.

Not very accessible area. Fair bit of bush track driving and then bushbash to reach. Impressive indeed and a price to be paid.

How does one access that place without a car? Not even sure if a regular 2WD can cope with the bush tracks going in that direction.

Only just joined the forum and found a copy of the route I posted after one of the many walks I have led in the area. The Cathedral Cave is located at GR 383 104 on the Cullen Bullen map. Access is very easy. Park at the un-named fire trail on Sunnyside Ridge Road at GR 375 092 it is the next one past Birds Rock heading west. Follow the trail to the Y junction at 377 095 and take the Right Hand track. When you reach 387 106 head due West down into the creek and turn left this way no ropes or tapes required. The other features in this valley are impressive as well particularly the Star Cavern (now re-named the Diamond Cavern). The 60 metre slot is a narrow slot you can walk through to nearly reach the top of the cliff line it is about, you guessed it, 60 metres long. There is also an Aboriginal occupation site in the valley. This entire area is packed with exceptional features. The Upper Blue Mountains Club does a lot of walking in this area. Let me know if you want any more info and I will put an "info" pack together.
