Near Moruya

Postby sandym » Mon 22 Feb, 2016 7:22 am

Hi All, I am in Moruya for a year and looking for some good walk ideas - preferably not too far to drive (love walking, hate driving). I've done the Bingi dreaming track. Any ideas for tracks up hills to lookouts, etc.?

Thanks
sandym

Hello sandym, my best advice is to look to the range west of Moruya - some great and diverse walking in Deua and Wadbilliga. Bendethera Valley is a good start along the Deua River. Mother Woila - Scout Hat and the surrounds are remote and difficult but also very good. Further South, Mount Gulaga (formerly Mt Dromedary) is an excellent day walk from Tilba.

Are you into off track walking? To the west of there (as Potato said) the possibilities are extraordinary.
