Hi, I'm planning to do the six foot track within the next week or so. But since I'm traveling here from Denmark I didn't bring all the gear needed. I'm currently in the Sydney area and wanted to hear if any of you know a good place for renting a tent, isolationmat and cooker. I'm traveling on a budget, so a not too expensive hire would also be a very big plus. Hope you can help.

Try one of the outdoor shops in Katoomba. They would be the best chance. Otherwise one of the Katoomba backpackers. You can buy a cheap camp mat for less than $20 at some places.
