Bushwalk Australia

Who has explored this area.? How steep is the Mt Walker fire trail on the pushy. I live in Bowenfels and the Coxes in is only 7.5\km away. Farmers Creek is a block away and I've had a go walking down it from home to Lyell but its a snakey *&%$#! fight through rural land. So what I'm asking mainly is the ride out reasonable as Id like to have a look this week before work.
