That's terrible news. From other news links I suspect this could be on the National Pass, a favourite track for a short walk in the BM.

Looks like the accident location is where I thought:

"Closed areas: Wentworth Pass

Applies from Wed 29 Nov 2017, 12.05pm. Last reviewed: Wed 29 Nov 2017, 1.06pm.

Wentworth Pass is closed due to a rockfall on National Pass. Police Rescue operation in progress. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, please contact Blue Mountains Heritage Centre on (02) 4787 8877 or visit the NSW National Parks safety page for park safety guidelines."

And an older alert from slightly further down the same page:

“Closed areas: National Pass walking track closed

Applies from Thu 31 Aug 2017, 2.02pm. Last reviewed: Thu 21 Sep 2017, 12.19pm.

National Pass walking track has been closed between Valley of the Waters and Slack Stairs, due to a very dangerous, unstable section of rock above the walking track. The area has been assessed by a geo-technical engineer and appropriate measures will be implemented to remove this extreme hazard. It is expected that this section of the National Pass walking track will reopen for the summer school holidays in December. Penalties apply for non-compliance.”

Kind of not surprising though. A lot of walks in that area have a lot of cliff face above them. Very sad. I hope the other 2 make it

Very sad to think these guys were working for our walk enjoyment. RIP for the passing and best in recovery for the injured. Grateful of their work.
Just move it!
