Water quality at Burrumbeet Brook

Postby Ned Kelly » Sat 10 Feb, 2018 1:19 pm

Gday, thinking of a quick stomp out from Wog Wog to Burrumbeet Brook in the Budawangs. Just wondering what the water quality is? Been years since i was there and although the brook is small the water quality was good - still filtered but probably didnt need to. Anyone got a recent report?

Personally I'd take it from either Canowie Brook or the southern arm (rather than main eastern arm) of Burrumbeet, since they're less likely to have human impacts upstream.

Cheers, good idea. What about Corang River - may do a night up there for a look see

Probably OK - it has some human impacts, but small relative to the size of the catchment. Or take from Goodsell Creek on the way through.
