Knife edge ridge for photoshoot

Mon 27 Aug, 2018 3:12 pm

Hey everyone, I'm wanting to take some photos for a personal photo project and I am looking to find a suitable location. I'm after a narrow rocky ridge or spine with great views and exposure either side to photograph bushwalkers on. I will be taking some lighting gear so the closer to the road the better.
Korriwal knife edge is a bit too far to lug gear. What is kariwoga ridge like (given I could mountain bike in to this location fairly easily)? Any tips would be appreciated!

Thanks
Dave

Kariwoga ridge is not that narrow and quite bushy - so probably not that suitable for your photo.

How about Hanging Rock? You would need to mountain bike from Blackheath, then walk the last 15 minutes.

Thanks for the response guys. Hanging rock could be an option thanks. I feel like there could be something around ironmonger and tin pot mountain. Will keep looking.

Ignore all the silly comments that follow the vid - which is worth looking at.

Great vid, Wollemi, and the comments are awesome too (especially the one that said "Plot twist: they started with seven runners").
