Bulls Peaks-Kidmans-Mawsons

The plan is to go south from McAlister Saddle to Bulls Peaks then descend to Kidmans Hut. The most logical way seems to be in the Burrengubugee River valley, which may be clearer due to cold air descending. Is this the best way, and if not, are there any routes to take and places to avoid? Going to Mawsons seems to be reasonably straightforward - up and west. There's a nice easy open descent from the broad saddle 2 kilometres east of Mawsons, starting SW to pick up the small creek, or straight down the ridge north of the creek.

Advice about the Kidmans access would be valued.

Thanks. I was aware of the book but hoped that someone would post here about the section from the Bulls Peaks region to Kidmans Hut and from there to the ridge a little south.

Some of the gullies and spurs down from the Bulls Peaks to either the valleys or direct to Kidmans are a trifle scrubby. Some very carefully study of Google Earth might help - maybe.

Cheers

Heh LPHPs
How are you getting to the Bulls Peaks?
I wonder what the walk up the Bulls Peak creek valley from the farm road crossing would be like?
Thanks
John

Weather permitting I'm coming from O'Keefes, over Jagungal, Toolong Range, and Bulls Peaks. I may go down from east of Mailbox then follow the river. The interesting part is from about 1760 metres to 1620 metres, a bit steep and with scrub.
