I would appreciate some suggestions on overnight walks in or near ACT.

Can you give us some more info. What’s your experience level, how far you want to travel each day, on track or off track, time of the year etc?

I went out to Corang peak and back last month and it was a good day walk.

Not sure of your fitness & experience but there seem to be some really good multiday walks out there.

The last walk my 21 yo daughter and I did pre-covid was South Coast Track, Tas. We are experienced enough to tackle most places but with Vic lockdowns reducing fitness and walk opportunities would prefer on track less than 18 km per day. Aiming for 1st week of March sjt covid restrictions

I'm guessing you will be fine then.

I'm a lost hiker returning after about 30 years and I found it pretty easy going, admittedly the weather was pretty much perfect.

Swimming in south cape bay wakes you up doesn't it .
