Hello,
a small group of us are planning to do the K2K over the Easter long weekend for the first time. I have read a bunch of reports/blogs but they are all pre-fire. Does anyone know what the track conditions are like now, including how visible/obvious it is and markings on the way? We'll be able to do a bit of route-finding, just wondering how much will be needed.
Also, any intel in water availability would be appreciated. We'll check Cox's river height closer to the date.
thanks in advance.

Have a look at the below thread, it has a recent report on the Kanangra end of the route. I've also read reports elsewhere that there are many fallen trees along the way making the trip slower and the trail less distinct. You're probably better off asking in that thread or posting in the NSW section as your query is specific to that region.

I know a group went last Sunday 7 March. Water level was knee deep, which is the average level you would expect.

Thanks both! Definitely taking GPS (would have anyway) and mentally preparing for the weeds
