Lerderderg river water levels

Postby RossageRoll » Sun 15 Jul, 2018 9:00 pm

Just checking if anyone has been out by Lerderderg in the last couple of weeks and can comment on the water levels of the creeks and rivers around?

Have been overseas so not sure what the rain has been like the last few weeks

Thanks!

I walked the Blackwood circuit as described in Tempest's guide book yesterday. The last section follows the Lerderderg River above O'Brien's crossing. It was definitely flowing. I wouldn't say it was high but I had to mainly use the footpad on the bank rather than walk in the river bed.
The whole area was damp and pleasant.

Thanks for the response Craig, love not having to carry water!

Damp and pleasant, great combo of adjectives :)
