Hi everyone,
late march/early april, i've got +/- 7 days to spend in the Otways area and currently look for possible (multi day) tracks; preferably inland loops.
I'm new to the area but used to bushwalking + offtrail navigation. Got the the missus with me so won't do any technical stuff but we'll carry a rope in case of small scrambles/backpack hauling. Wouldn't want to cover more than 15km/day given we don't know the terrain.
Got only one car so loops would be great.
MickeyB was so kind to share Mousetrap info so that should keep us occupied for a day - thanks again!! Other than Beauchamp/Triplet Falls which I'd really like to see on the more touristy side, we usually try to avoid the drive-in crowds.
So far, just had Cora Lynn walk-in site on the camp plan but it'd be great to learn if there are more options to bushcamp for the avid walker.
Well, thanks in advance for any feedback!
Regards
- Florian
