The second link says that "His car was found by family members at a car park on the corner of Stoney Creek Road and Rosea Track in Halls Gap at 5pm on New Year’s Eve." It sounds like he was in the Rosea-Bundaleer-Valley of Mystery area. Does anyone know where he was found?
While Grampians walking is often slow due to scrub and rocks, there's plenty of foot and vehicular tracks. Still, a novice would have limited ideas about how to manage. At least he's alive.
