Day Snow hikes close to melb

Hi,

Looking for day snowxhikes close to melb if any one has any suggestions, we are in the east ( Yarra valley ) ?

I was considering Mt Donna buang but it will be a mad house as alot will be there

If the snow is down low enough you can walk from Cumberland picnic area to Snowy Hill ner Lake Mountain.

Lake Mountain, Torbreck (might be vehicle access issues there) are the closest. After that, it's the Baw Baw.

Learn to XC ski !! . I have and I generally leave my snow shoes in the cellar now.

I did see somewhere that Mt. Juliet near Healesville had some good snow on it during the winter and somebody walked up it.
