Anyone been up there recently and can advise?
Particularly around the Farmyard.
I’m happy to collect and treat creek/spring water.

As a fallback, is there water available at the Cook’s Mill campground?

Cooks Mill campground is on the Little River so should be plenty of water there.

Here's a link to an automatic weather station about 5km south of the Cathedrals, which gives a good indication of what's happening there. You cans see that there's been about half a mill of rain so far today and just over 20mm for July so far, which means that the spring below Farmyard should have a suitable trickle.

Rain forecast for Thursday & Friday so the spring near Farmyard should be good to go.

As a related comment - note that the water in the creek is some of the best you'll get. Did a kids activity with the rangers there once and they said that - based on critters that live in it - it's best quality water. Mainly due to being cold, protected by trees along it's length and being almost solely in a national park so free of farming run off...

I think the creek Erich is referring to here is Little River, which runs through Cooks Mill and Neds Gully camping areas. The spring near The Farmyard may still need to be boiled, though it should also be pretty good.

Update after the weekend (21/22 July):
Water, Water everywhere!
Also, each of the toilet blocks has full rainwater tanks.
Whether you want to treat rainwater from the tanks is up to you, but my family has lived off rainwater for >100 years so I'm willing to take the risk!

Late Feb 2019 - Spring below The Farmyard is bone dry.
