Wonnangatta Station to junction of Wonnangatta & Moroka Rvrs

Has anyone any advice on following the Wonnangatta River downstream from the Station (or more particularly Hernes Spur) to its junction with the Moroka River. It's planned as part of a Melbourne Cup Weekend trip (the rest is known!).
