The link has been updated. He was found alive and well at a Jamieson campsite.

It is good to know he is well but sometimes being out of Mob. ph range is exactly what you go away for. To be incommunicado, and loving it!

He's 'vowed to buy a sat phone'? Won't that make the worrying worse and the 'leash' tighter? Last thing I'd want to do is have to check in every day.

Seems a bit strange a search was initiated given he wasn't overdue ( according to my reading) and the day he was found was the day he was due to return.

He was even found driving his car! (On his way home one would presume)
