I believe the landowner is quite right in voicing his concerns. The map is posted as a means of accessing his property. It is private property and no mention was made of that in the initial posting. I can understand the slightly strident note in PLs second post. I do not see it as bullying, but as an understandable response to ignorant assumptions likely to be made.
Yes, the OP was advised to seek landowner permission. And he indicated he would do so. It should also be noted the PL response is some
1 yr, 8 months after the original post so perhaps he has had some problems in that time with people trespassing on his land? If so, could someone have seen this map on this site and ignored the advice re seeking permission? Don't jump to conclusions without knowing all the circumstances.
