North Queensland overnighter for first timers

Postby julzybear » Sat 10 Jan, 2015 11:19 am

we want to take our parents (in their 60s) on their first ever overnight walk and are looking for suggestions for easy (i.e. not too steep or rough) walks ideally within 200km of townsville or cairns.

any ideas?

thanks :)

Goldfield trail? FNQ is all about steep and rough, someone who has knowledge of the misty mountains may be able to suggest a walk there.
