Moolayember Gorge - Carnarvon National Park

Mon 08 May, 2017 2:11 pm

Hi All,

I was interesting in information about Moolayember Gorge (near Carnarvon National Park), in particular the Three Sisters.

* Is there a trail? If not what's the best way in?
* Where does the trail start?
* Are the roads marked on Google maps okay for a 2wd, or 4wd?

Easterly view of the formation

If this is deemed as a sensitive area with no tracks, could someone please help me out and email me on [email protected]. I'm very keen to go and explore this area. I am aiming for a trip in October before it gets too hot.

How'd you go finding information about this track?

No track, off-track, remote access, hot & dry country, water issues...cool season self reliant exploration.

Research/planning needed. Week long walk at least.

A scenic flight will give you a awe-inspiring lie of the land...

It's on the explore list...one of these cool seasons. 8)
