overnight walks central + western Qld

Postby rhall » Fri 27 Nov, 2009 8:28 am

Hi I'm planning to spend most of next winter in the national parks of this area .There's very little information about overnight walks and I doubt many people do them (from experience in other desert areas) so any tips are very welcome. I do love being out overnight away from roads ,cars and people noise etc, doesn't need to be a long walk .Water is often the limiting factor, otherwise I can go for about 5-8 days. So far from my research I'm planning on Currawinya,Idalia,Bladensburg,Expedition,White Mts,Porcupine Gorge,Lawn hill(Boodjamulla) I'm also interested in any other places in the outback. Thanks
