Reasonably experienced bushwalker looking for walking companion to walk the Gt Sth & Port Davey Tks from mid Feb to Late Mar 2019.Plan to start Cockle Ck with resupply
& rest day at Melaleuca then onto Scotts Peak Dam

Can be done in reverse.sharing travel costs from/to cockle ck or scotts peak dam.Flexible.

Looking to do North to South in April if you are in a position to delay your start?
Have done the route 3-5 times but not recently.
Slow but steady walker.

Pushing back my timeframe from 25th Mar to 14th April.
Definitely walking Nth to Sth.
Probable pick up at Cockle Ck

All good.Planning to depart Scotts Ck dam Rd 1st or 2nd April with rest day at Melaleuca.Can supply pick up at Cockle Ck to Dover/bus stop thereabouts c13th April.Would be good if u can supply transport to start.

Unfortunately Port Davey track is still closed.Will be seeking info abt possible re-opening.Until then walk is on hold. I cannot push dates back any further

Spoke to Corrine at Southwest Parks Tas.Port Davey track fire is still burning at Scotts Peak Dam Rd & south.Very unlikely that PD track will be opened in the next month.
Looks like next year for me.
