Mt Franklin Meet & greet?

Any interest in another group get together at Mt Franklin to celebrate the end of lockdown.
I'll cook soup
Also I don't mind heading up a day or so early with a tonne of firewood and a big tent or three
After school holidays naturally

There doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for this. I thought the last one was fun tho and I got to see lots of Tarptents in one place thanks to Franco.
I had been planning my famous Curried Tomato and Barley soup too
However I was thinking that the Melbourne Cup long week-end might be a good date, we should be out of lockdown by then, hopefully.

Can someone PM me if this does go ahead? I am keen (work and the other gods providing) but I don't check in here super often. Plus, being in regional VIC, I am headed off for my first real bushwalk of the year next week so will be a bit out of touch for next few weeks.

Moondog, we would love to come if lockdown is over. Great memories from the last Mt Franklin roundup. And after the 5km limit of the last few months, anywhere away from Melbourne would be great.

I was hoping lockdown would be over for the Melbourne Cup weekend; but that is now looking unlikely.
As my time is my own I was hoping I could drive up early with firewood and group cooking gear.

Will hopefully drop in on arvo of Saturday 21st, to check out the famous soup. I may convince my friend to drive on the return trip, so will gladly accept any whisky on offer. :wink:
