Postby heracles26 » Wed 20 Nov, 2013 7:07 pm

Im fairly new to hiking/camping. Was just wondering if any one could suggest some nice places to hike/camp at around Adelaide.

Thanks :)

Deep Creek Conservation Pk: Eagle Waterhole Campsite.

Montacute Conservation Park, via Valley Rd. There's a great little spot, whether it's still officially for camping I don't know, to one side of Kangaroo Ck, just to the south of Thomas Hill. Once was perhaps tho' no longer on the Heysen Trail.

Fire ban season may control Hills camping at the moment. Heysen Trail officially closes November to April.

I don't think there's camping to be had in Kaiser Stuhl CP, tho' Rossiters Hut is just beside it. But it's one of Adelaide's gems and right above Tanunda in the Barossa.
Surgite et .. andiamo!
