walking in musgrave ranges.

Wed 10 Jun, 2015 8:35 am

if anybody has been to the musgrave ranges I was just wanting some information about it as I could not find any on the internet. I recently realised that many of the tallest mountains in sa are in the musgrave ranges and could not find any info on the internet.

They are mostly [if not all] in APY [Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara] Lands - meaning you need permission to go in there.
I believe jez_au has been in there. You may like to PM him.

I know about the apy land and the walk you can do to the summit of my woodroffe. however the walk he did was 3 hours long involving a direct ascent of mount woodroffe. I was more interested in any maps people know about and/or walking trails other than the main summit trail. thanks anyway for the reply though.
