Flinders Ranges Multi-Day

Postby HenryVIIII » Tue 15 Nov, 2016 1:15 pm

Hi all
Me and a few mates are looking to do an overnight hike in the Flinders Ranges. I was hoping to create a circuit using the hiking trails for a 30-40km 3-day hike. Looking at the map it appears drinking water is a severe issue and only one camping area has it.
Has anyone done a multi-day circuit in Flinders before? What trails did you do? What was the water situation like?

Thanks

Hi Henry, this could possibly be better posted in the SA, WA and NT section - viewforum.php?f=40

Henry, when are you planning to walk, and in what areas of the Flinders Ranges.

Heysen Trail huts will have rainwater tanks as does the Aroona campground. What area are you looking at?
