Apart from following the gorge - there are only a few tricky bits - detailed here:
http://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=2311&hilit=+edeowie#p20137Some people make a loop out of it by scrambing over/past Mt Abrupt back to the Heysen Trail

We came down Edeowie Gorge, and camped past the bottom falls. Walked up to the saddle south of Mt Abrupt and approached from that side. Short climb but very exposed to the summit this way (we took safety line etc) and then camped that night down on Wilcolo Track. Wandered back to Wilpena on Day Three.
