Hi all. I reckon walking from Hobart city to the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington is much under-appreciated. And when we don't appreciate things, they can be threatened or harmed more easily.
I did my "City to Summit" walk on the same day as the Florentine World Heritage Rally. As much as I wanted to be there, I chose my own protest walk, in celebration of the mountain, and in opposition to the proposed Mt Wellington Cable Car.
