Thanks for sharing that. I've been keen to give that a whirl for a while. Seeing someone else has done it is a nice confidence boost!

Having visited the range quite a few times - then I think ten minutes for the Beggary Bumps is not realistic. I was on one trip where we discovered at Lovers Leap that tent pegs had been left at High Moor. They were my tent pegs! (I was not the one who forgot to pack them however) - but I did run back for them, and it didn't take too long to get there and back - but I would think and hour for the return trip? Ten minutes to complete the Beggary Bumps would mean only 30 minutes from High Moor to Haven Lake (that section can be divided into three roughly equal bits - Beggaries, Little Baggaries, Taurus - each takes about the same effort and time)

But the whole trip sounds quite feasible - and remember it was only a partial traverse (A to K). Parties often go from Oberon to Haven Lake in a day - carrying packs - and that is a fair bit of the distance and effort.

I can recall hearing about a Tasmanian party that completed the whole range as a day walk from Junction Ck (in the 1970's) - although they had to walk to Arthur Plains by torch.
