A slightly crazy but weirdly fun midnight trip to Mt Anne.

Ballsy attempt, complete insanity, mad capped adventure.....the more I think about it the more it sounds like fun. :wink:
Mountain views are good for my soul...& getting to them is good for my waistline !

It's not the first attempt, but maybe the closest to success - there was an attempt nearly 30 years ago by a couple of members of what was then the Tas Uni Mountaineering Club, and a couple of friends to do the same, but by the time we got to the hut it was snowing heavily, the moonlight had just about disappeared and we were lucky to find the hut. We spent the next two or three days hut bound then walked out as the snow stayed too deep to go higher.
