'Stoffy' and myself went for a little walk on the weekend. Im not sure if this is the right way to show a trip report on here but here it is anyway!

Rufus is a wonderful place, but it's more fun to do a bigger loop - carry the packs up Little Hugel, across to Hugel, short sidetrip to the top, then down and back up over Rufus and return via the main Rufus track. No backtracking except the few metres from the start/end of the Rufus track to the carpark.
Although with snow and ice when you don't know the place it's not necessarily the best idea . . .
