A brief glimpse of Mt Hesperus

Last winter Kylie & I enjoyed a snowy trip to the Western Arthurs. We were treated to blizzards, deep snow, thunderstorms and floods. You can find more pics and a 2-part trip report at my blog:

Is that a new setup at Junction Creek?
We had a small ladder down on each side, but there weren't any logs.

Edit - should have read your blog first. Quite an adventure. But I see this was a makeshift setup to get across a flooded creek.

Hi tastrekker, loved your blog posts and extra photos. I sometimes like to head to the spots with the worst weather as well, whether it be snow and flooded creeks in our alpine areas, or wet season storms and waterfalls in our tropical regions there is something special about mother nature throwing her weight around. It normally makes for a good yarn and dramatic photos as well :)
