Coal Falls

Postby naturelover » Sat 05 Aug, 2017 8:55 am

This is just to alert you waterfall baggers and other waterfall lovers that I have posted a very out of date post on Coal Falls (April 2015) this morning, backdated its actual date, but new to the blog. I hadn't realised I had been there, and hadn't posted, but the route was in my gps system, and my photos were there to tell me I had, in fact, been, and I thought putting the route in the blog would b helpful for those interested in going there. It was a lovely route (although you need to be comfortable with off-track walking). I do not recommend the falls in early April - far too dry. We were more interested in the route as a route at the time. Now might offer much better conditions to give them a go. In April the falls themselves were so boring, I din't even bother with a shot of them - my photos are from up the top, and down below the falls.
