Tasmania - Penguin to Cockle Creek

Would it be possible to walk from Penguin, North coast, to Cockle Creek, South coast, using as little road as possible ? I have been reading about the “Penguin - Cradle” track. Then use the OLT to lake St Claire. The last two legs would be the Bathurst Harbour track, from Lake Pedder to Melaeluca and the South Coast Walk. However the Lake St Claire - Lake Pedder section is the difficult part. I can’t seem to find any tracks through the Franklin Wild Rivers NP North to South and the ida of a 3-5 day walk along formed roads is not apealing.

This would be an amazing trip - Food drops at Cradle, lake ST C and Melaeluca would be straightforward to organise. Total trip time probably 30 days.

Thoughts ?

There are no continual/maintained tracks in that section between LSC and Scotts Peak. There are remnant tracks and off track routes or take a raft...
