Hansons Peak and Little Horn

Postby ryantmalone » Tue 07 May, 2019 9:45 am

Went for a lovely hike around Lake Dove yesterday. Climbed Hansons Peak, and went on to finally give Little Horn a go.

Didn't get to the summit sadly, due to the exposure getting the better of me towards the top, but will be back when I'm in better shape for round two. I could have bypassed the difficult part on its left, however silly me didn't bring any gaiters, and the scrub was just a tad punishing on my legs. Was becoming unbearable by this point. An amazing, super steep and exciting climb for those who know where to find the track, and don't mind a little exposure. Could become a bit of a favorite. :D
