PCT 500 miles through the High Sierras

Postby digbyg » Fri 04 Nov, 2016 9:02 am

Alison and I managed to complete 500 miles of the PCT over July and August this year. It's not "Wild" but here is a link to my day journal with appropriate photos. This is arguably the best bit of the PCT, but my admiration goes out to those who manage the whole thing in one. They are a distinct breed, so you can recognise a through hiker as they approach despite another 100 people or so coming at you every day.

Great achievement and an inspiration. I've read your journal on and off throughout the day. So much people traffic!
