Postby Dino rover » Fri 13 May, 2016 2:16 pm

Parks vic says farmyard spring no longer flowing
I understand a creek is close to the farmyard
does anyone know if there is water near to the camp either spring or creek?

Thanks

Hi Dino,

I was up there last weekend and the creek was dry, (I presume the spring is what feeds the creek) and you would need to carry all your water requirements in.

Having said that we had some rain this week so there may be a trickle now?? I'd be taking in what I needed I reckon though.

Cheers
Kevin

Are you just planning on going for the one night? Yes it's steep but it does only take 1 hour to get to the Farmyard from Cooks Mill. If it were me I would just carry a couple of litres.
