Mount Solitary Blue Mountains Update

Postby trickychris » Thu 16 Nov, 2017 9:30 am

I Just completed Mount Solitary last weekend for the first time in roughly a year to discover that there were no longer any signs regarding camping restrictions. I'm curious to know why, but also just letting everyone know about it. We were able to Camp anywhere essentially without a problem. :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkrWzre8GUU&t=22s

Thanks for the update, trickychris. What about Chinaman's Cave: have the rolled-up matting stripes been removed from the floor?

There may be more to this than meets the eye. After restrictions have been introduced, they are hardly ever rescinded.

All of the prohibition signs are still in place, as are the matting strips. I don't know where trickychris was camping, but it certainly wasn't Chinamans Gully.
