Berowra Engraving walk

Postby solohiker » Wed 03 Apr, 2019 5:03 pm

I found a fantastic 7km circuit in Berowra that takes you past 5 engraving sites. The sites are publicly known (so I feel ok sharing) and they are right on the trail but they are very easy to miss if you don’t know they are there. I started at Berowra Coles, walked to the Currawong Rd engravings then joined the Great North Walk. I visited the Washtub gully engravings then a large engraving at Berowra Waters. I walked up to the top of the ridge and saw a circular engraving of modern but unknown origin and finally visited a group of warrior engravings before heading back to coles.
My pics are too big to post so I’ll give the link to my blog instead (well I wouldn’t given the link anyway!)

Note if you do this walk please treat the sites with respect and leave no trace of your visit.
I love blogging about my adventures. Please feel free to take a look https://solohikerblog.wordpress.com/
