Mittagong to Blackheath

Here is a highlight reel video I made of a recent walk from Mittagong to Katoomba.

http://www.youtube.com/user/terrarosage ... HXQ6YdmbT0

It was a good walk, the Nati valley was fantastic. We were a party of three and one had to drop out after some bad luck. He cut his foot on a bone while answering the call of nature in the night. He got a lift out at Yerranderi. We moved enjoyably fast pace and finished late on the 5th day (4 nights) at Carlons Farm. The 20 some odd Ks of fire trail on narrow neck didnt appeal to much as we have been there many times and the road along scotts main range is a long haul.

Here are a few fav pics from the walk.

Thanks for posting. From the look of the video you went via Belloon Pass. Sounds like a good trip.

Yeah dropped down Belloon and then went through the restricted zone. That was a long day. We camped just on the outside edge of the the water catchment.

Is that a shot of the Kowmung from the lookout on Scotts Main?

Its actually the Coxs from the track down Cookem. We were fogged in for the what we were told are the best views of the Kowmung.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Next time you might consider captions for the pics for people like me who don't venture out other than on day walks.
