Some of you are aware of what I'm doing and I have been fortunate in meeting and making contact with a few of you down here in Tassie.
In September I started a 7 year, 32,000km walk around Australia raising awareness about depression and suicide prevention and raising funds for Lifeline Australia.
I had intended to walk approx 1900km around Tassie but injury and illness pushed me back to about 1250kms over 12 weeks.
It has been great meeting people around Tassie who have shared their homes and stories with me and helped me with accommodation, meals, advice, transport and water as well as some generous donations to Lifeline.
In 2015/16 I hope to return to Tassie during one of the wet season breaks (Broome) and walk some of Australia's most spectacular places including some of the places I had planned to visit on this trip.
During the 2014/15 wet season break (Exmouth) I plan to spend 7 months ranging across my old stomping ground, the ACT/NSW/VIC Alps.
There are 3 other wet season breaks I will need to take at Darwin, Alice and Cairns. From Alice I hope to complete the Larapinta then continue on down to Adelaide incorporating a longitudinal crossing into the big walk then hitting the Heysen. During another break I hope to do the Bibbulmun.
As these wet season breaks are about 7-8 months long I have a lot of time to do a lot of bushwalking, besides what I have just mentioned.
This is where you all come in 
What are your suggestions for some great walks down south WA, SA, VIC, NSW, TAS, even southern QLD while I avoid the wet seasons? Can you post up some links to dedicated websites, trail guides, blogs, maps, photo galleries, etc? It would be ideal to base myself in one place and spend a month or more exploring walks from there.Most of The Happy Walk around the mainland will be with a custom designed trekking cart and follows roads (which will get rather tedious being buffeted about by road trains and holding my breath passing carrion) but the bushwalks will be with a pack as the cart is a longish design for carrying bulk water, best for road shoulders but not much rougher than that.
