Peg & Bough

Postby mjdalessa » Tue 24 Feb, 2009 6:11 pm

On a old map I have it marks spots as a place name e.g. 'Thark' Peg and Bough.
It's a 1954 map of mt. wellington.
Some people i've talked to think it's one of those old kinds of boardwalks that they used to thread the wire through and peg it at the end.
Could the bough part mean the logs used to make the board walk?
Can anybody help me w/ this?
