I am not sure whether people on the forum realise just how valuable their comments/musings/information is/are. But as someone who only started seriously solo bushwalking/hiking 3.5 years ago (and now 58) you have made such positive differences to my gear, outlook, confidence and skills. Not sure it has saved me any money, but I have great gear and mostly the right gear the first time!
So a big thank you from me! :D :D :D

I'll add my voice to this one too onward, thanks to this forum and it's contributors I've gone from someone with very little/close to no idea, to walking places I didn't know existed with the right preparation and confidence. These days taking my family along for the ride. It only took me 57 years to discover this wonderful past time and now at 61 it just gets better and better........thanks to what I learn here. :wink:
