Trekking with goats n dog from FNQLD to NNSW and below.

ah I just figured out how to use this so here is my question/situation- I'm desperately wanting to walk my pack goats and DOG from FNQLD to Coffs Harbour area? If anyone here can help me I would be soooooo grateful. I know I can do the BNT with goats but not with my dog, gone are the days you could just walk around Australia with pack animals and ya dog (on stock routes mind you.....), it's a very sad reality.

I will be indebted to anyone or everyone that can help me make this dream come true, I will be needing help with the from FNQLD asap but may not respond strait away I will not have access to a computer often in the next 2 weeks as will be on the road travelling north to pick my goats up.

I don't not own a computer phone I will be doing this old school with paper maps, so advise on maps etc would be great I can not possible get all the topo maps covering the east coast of Australia so not sure wot to get, if someone has done a particular route with a dog I will get those suggested!

Peoples direct experience is priceless as far as I'm concerned, I would also appreciate any help on how to trek from NNSW to East Gibbsland as I would like to do this as well in the future.

Thanks, Prue

I suppose you know about, Owen Davies - http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/201 ... 620857.htm. He walked with his goats and dog, 1000 kms through western Queensland. A different route to your plan but plenty of direct experience to tap in to.

Is there somewhere we can follow your trip, do you have a blog or something? It sounds way too interesting to miss :)

Tony, welcome to the forum. Prue has just three posts with the last in March 2017. It is unlikely that she will be following this thread.
