BZ to Helinox

Postby bernieq » Sat 11 Mar, 2017 5:35 pm

I want to give a BZ to Helinox for excellent customer service.

On a recent tramp in NZ, I was stepping across a stream and was leaning on the walking pole (an FL 135) as I transferred weight from on foot to the other - SNAP! - and I was taking a bath, pack and all. A new pole, purchased in 2016, it broke at the handle.

On return to Aus, I called Helinox and, together with apologies for the unscheduled swim, was immediately offered a replacement pole by express post (and asked if I'd be happy to send the broken pole back by the included post-bag).

Thanks, Helinox.

+1

Helinox have just sent a replacement section because the locking screw had failed on my 4-5 year old pole.

Great service.
