Site name change?

Postby Buddy » Sun 27 Sep, 2009 7:09 am

Hows about we change the site to http://www.bushwade-Tasmania? Much more appropriate. I'm off now to do a websearch to get plans for an Ark.

You might need to scale these up a bit... http://www.furnitureplans.com/pi_products/5110

I'll be spending today retrieving my pool solar panels after a wild and windy night down south.
Cheers - Phil

Bit of a flood heading down the Huon river towards Judbury, it's about 400mm over Tahune bridge at present.

you'll be fine if you got a 4wd I dont :(
I went into huonville at 9 this morning water over the road in many places and its meant to be rising.... we are in glen huon which is short of judbury but the main area is just past huonville. been some BIG landslides over the road just past the bridge but they were clearing most of it up when i was there.

You want REALLY not funny with fallen trees?
Barrelling up the Omeo Highway last Saturday week, in the dark, around a corner and there's a car stopped on the other side of the road with its lights on, so I dip mine, and therefore don't see until almost too late the massive tree that's covering two thirds of the bleeding road just 100metres ahead.
I love my 4WD.
I love its road clearance. I love its big nobbly tyres. I love the solidity of its build. I love the fact that I can brake and swerve and hit a massive lump of wood at 80km without it launching itself into the river that's only 20ft from the road edge, or damaging the wheel rims, the tyres, the steering or suspension.

I don't particularly love driving while in shock, but . . .

I've reverted our site logo again now. For those who missed it, we had the image below as the site logo for the last day and a half. :-)
